Six months, seven countries, hundreds of conversations. Since January, the Pitch Avatar team has been traveling across Europe and the Middle East, not just to show what we’ve built, but to see how the world responds to it.
We packed up our AI avatars and pitched at some of the biggest tech events of the year – from Web Summit Qatar to VivaTech Paris. Here’s what we learned and where we’re heading next.
Acceleration isn’t just about speed, it’s about direction
Our year kicked off by joining the Challenger AI Accelerator 3.0 – and looking back, it was a game changer. We stepped into an ecosystem: 16 expert-led workshops, 15+ hours of 1:1 mentorship, honest feedback from peers and pro, weekly calls and active debates, a high-stakes Demo Day in Kyiv.
When we joined in January, and by May, we were in Kyiv pitching at Challenger AI Demo Day, where 14 startups presented their progress. Victoria took the stage for Pitch Avatar and her pitch was selected as one of the winners, earning us a spot at The Next Web Conference in Amsterdam.
It was a proud moment of how far we’d come.
Just as important? The community. The weekly calls, shared roadblocks, and quick Slack chats created a real sense of support among early-stage founders all tackling similar problems. That’s rare and incredibly valuable.
Web Summit Qatar: our first time experience at Middle East
Web Summit Qatar, Doha was our first time showcasing Pitch Avatar in the Middle East – and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect. But the feedback was direct: people were curious about AI presenters, especially in industries where personalization is a key.
We showed live demos, let people try it themselves, and saw the AI shift happen in real time.
MWC Barcelona: Fast-paced
At Mobile World Congress, the pace is intense. You have seconds to make your point or people move on.
What clicked here? Speed.
Visitors loved that a full multilingual video could be generated in 2 minutes – no actors, no cameras, just one link. And the use case that got the most attention: product demos that run 24/7 in any language.
London & Vienna: The “Ah-Ha” moment for HR and L&D
In April and May, we went deep into specific industries.
At Learning Technologies London, our focus was HR and learning teams. We asked: “What if your next employee learned from… you?”
That question stuck. Teams saw how AI avatars could deliver onboarding, training, and internal comms instantly, in their voice, tone, and language.
Then in Vienna at B2B Software Days, we had more focused talks with SaaS founders and R&D teams. Here, the avatar-as-sales-rep angle really stood out especially for those expanding internationally without the resources for full global teams.
GITEX Europe Berlin: The moment it got real
At GITEX Europe, we hit peak excitement. People were scanning QR codes, seeing their own AI twins appear on screen in real time, and just… stopping. Some laughed. Some were amazed. A few wanted to immediately embed it into their sales pages.
This was the moment we realized we weren’t just building a product. We’re changing how people think about work, identity, and communication: AI doesn’t replace you – it extends you.
VivaTech Paris: Representing Ukraine and What’s next
Now in Paris, we’re wrapping up the first half of 2025 at Viva Technology, one of Europe’s biggest startup events.
The Ukrainian National Pavilion at Viva Technology 2025 is organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, Ukrainian Startup Fund, and IT Ukraine Association, in partnership with La French Tech Kyiv, Nazovni, CCIFU, Seeds of Bravery, the EIT Community Hub Ukraine and with the support of the EU4Innovation East project, funded by the European Union, co-funded by the French Government, and implemented by Expertise France.
We’re here as one of 16 Ukrainian startups and we’re using the spotlight to show what’s possible with AI presenters today:
- Multilingual videos generated instantly
- Personalization at scale
- Always-on communication, even when you’re offline
It’s not future talk. It’s working now.
So… What’s the point of all this?
To be honest, we didn’t go into these events thinking we’d change the world. We went to demo our AI avatars, to stress-test the product, and to find the real gaps we could fill.
Here’s what we learned that might help you, too:
- AI tools need to be easy to use. If it takes more than 5 minutes to figure out, it’s too long.
- People want clarity, not complexity. No one’s asking for “hyper-immersive AI-powered interfaces.” They want simple, clear, useful tools that solve a real problem.
- Personalization is a must. From employee onboarding to sales funnels, people want to feel like the message was made for them. AI can help make that happen, without scaling your workload.
What's next?
We’re just getting started. Expect new features, sharper use cases, and stay tuned for updates.
But above all, we’re focused on one thing: Helping businesses tell their story – without burning hours to do it.
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading. And if you’re curious to see your own avatar in action or how it might work for your team – come say hi.
