Mobile Application

Why do you need it?

 

The mobile app doesn’t replicate the full functionality of the Pitch Avatar web app, but it offers useful features on the go.

With the mobile app, you can:

  • Show and manage presentations
  • Receive notifications about new connections or invites to join a session
  • Join and host video conferences during presentations
  • Get reports on presentation views and see listener activity

However, for full access to advanced features like AI script generation, voice-overs, video avatars, and translations in the editor mode, you should use the web application.

 
 

How to start

To start using the mobile application, install it from the App Store or Play Market

You can do it directly from the links in the last sentence, if you are reading this text from your smartphone, or you can go to the App Store or Play Market and search for Pitch Avatar anytime.

On iOS Smartphones

When using Pitch Avatar on an iOS smartphone, you will receive a message requesting permission to send notifications. Choose Allow if you want to be notified when a listener calls you to join or connect to your presentation.

You can customize these notification settings for each presentation when creating the link or disable all notifications from Pitch Avatar in your smartphone’s notification settings.

Authorization

When you first open the Pitch Avatar app, you will see the Presentation Library, which contains presentations with public access.

Without logging in or registering, only one option is available – Personal view. This allows you to see how the presentation player appears to the presenter and familiarize yourself with the available controls.

To access all screens and features of the app, you will be prompted to Login or Sign up.

If you don’t have an account on pitchavatar.com, you can create one through the app. Click on the Sign Up button, fill out the registration form, and then click Sign up. A confirmation code will be sent to your email, which you’ll need to confirm in the app.

If you’re already registered, simply enter your login and password after clicking the Login button.

If you’re having trouble logging in, you may have forgotten your password. Click Forgot password to reset it. You’ll need to provide the email associated with your profile, where you’ll receive a confirmation code to set a new password.

Main menu

The main menu of the application is placed at the bottom and consists of the following sections:

  1. Presentation Library
  2. Web links
  3. Reports
  4. My account
  5. Info

Let’s take a closer look at each section:

Presentation Library

The Presentation Library is a storage space for all your presentations. Once you upload a presentation to Pitch Avatar, it is also accessible through this section of the app. You can limit access to presentations in the Editor mode on the Pitch Avatar web app.

This section also features a search bar and filter located at the top of the screen. The search bar allows you to find presentations by title, and the filter helps display a list of presentations by company and language.

Web links

The Web Links section stores all your presentation links. By clicking on any link, you can allow viewers to access it, share it with a contact, copy the link, or view reports on how many times it was viewed.

Reports

The Reports section stores data on listeners’ actions during a presentation. This includes details such as dates, listener names, their companies, job roles, and emails (gathered from the lead form). Additionally, it tracks reactions under slides, chat history, and overall engagement.

My account

In the My Settings tab, you can update your profile details and password.

The Employees tab allows you to add or delete colleagues from your account. You also have the option to log out or permanently delete your profile.

When adding new company user, you must enter your colleague’s data yourself and send it to him so that he can authorize and, if desired, update his own data in the profile.

Info

This section provides access to the help guide, company information, blog, contacts, and the user agreement. When adding a new company user, you’ll need to manually input their details and send them the information, allowing them to authorize themselves and update their profile if needed.

Creating a presentation link 

  • Access the presentation: Navigate to the presentation in the Library and click on Get link.
  • Enter the name: You can enter a custom name for the link. By default, it will match the presentation name.

  • Select administrators: Choose one or more administrators from your company who will receive notifications and communicate with listeners. You can select yourself or any other user.

  • Add a calendar link: On the presentation page, listeners will have the option to schedule meetings with you via the provided calendar link. Click Next.

  • Generate a password: You can create a password for accessing the presentation if desired.
  • Add a lead form: Choose to collect contact information from listeners by specifying which data you want to gather. This lead form will appear at the beginning of the presentation or before a designated slide.

Set listener permissions: Decide whether to allow or disallow your listeners to share slides, change presentation details, ask questions, and call the presenter.

Choose presentation version: If you have multiple versions prepared (two or three), specify which one will play by default when a listener clicks on the link.

Leave a voice message: Optionally, you can include a voice message for the listeners inside the presentation.

Control slide visibility: Choose to hide or display the slide feed for listeners.

Manage notifications: You can turn off notifications for when listeners enter the presentation.

Proceed or go back: Click Next to finalize, or click Back to return to the previous items for adjustments.

As soon as a listener opens your presentation link, you will receive a notification on your smartphone about it (if you don’t turn-off this option). You can tap the notification at the top and connect.

If you haven’t made it in time, that’s okay! There are three other ways to connect in the Pitch Avatar app:

Connect via the people icon: Click on the people icon in the top-right corner of the screen to connect to the presentation. If you have created multiple links and people are actively clicking on them, this list will be longer and will show all active connections.

Bell icon: The bell icon represents your incoming notifications. Click on it to read the notifications, including alerts for when a listener calls you. Simply tap the icon, select the relevant notification, and connect with the listener.

Web links section: Navigate to the Web links section to find your presentation link. Tapping on it will display the number of listeners who have viewed the presentation. Click on Listeners to view detailed reports, including those who are currently active in the presentation. You can then click on the viewer’s name to connect directly with them.

Once connected to a listener, you can monitor their activity, such as flipping through slides, leaving reactions, and responding to chat requests.

  • Microphone and сamera: By enabling your microphone and camera, you can start a video conversation. The listener can also enable their microphone and camera directly from their browser.
  • Read the script: Clicking the “Read the script” button will open the speaker’s text (if it has been added or generated), providing useful prompts during the presentation.
  • Take сontrol сheckbox: You have the option to take control of the presentation from the listener by checking the “Take control” box, allowing you to flip through slides. You can give control back by unchecking the box.
  • Synchronization: When you take control, synchronization is activated, letting the listener follow the slides you’re flipping through. You can turn it off, navigate the slides privately, and then turn it back on when ready to sync again. This helps maintain flow and focus during the presentation.

If a listener has left the presentation, you will see the circle next to their name change from blue to red.

To exit the presentation, tap the exit icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

You can view the presentation report in the Reports and Web links sections.

How to request deletion of your user account in the mobile app

Deleting your user account in the Pitch Avatar mobile app is simple and requires a direct request to the support team. Follow this step-by-step guide:

  1. Email request:
    • Send an email to support@pitchavatar.com with the subject line: “Request to Delete My Account Permanently.”
    • In the email, include your account details and clearly request the permanent deletion of your account.
  2. Confirmation:
    • Once your request has been processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the support team verifying that your account has been deleted.
  3. Contact support (if needed):
    • If you can’t find the option to delete your account or face any issues, reach out to the support team for further assistance.

Important: Deleting your account is permanent and all your data will be lost without recovery. Make sure to back up any essential information before requesting deletion.
