Presentation Player Review. An interface for the listener.
UpdatedMarch 11, 2025
When a listener opens a presentation link, they see a player where they can not only view the presentation but also communicate with the presenter through chat using the Call Presenter or Schedule Meeting buttons. At the bottom of the player, the listener can view the slide feed. To open the slide feed, they need to click the Slides button located in the lower right corner. The slides will then appear in a dropdown horizontal feed at the bottom.
In the center of the presentation player, as well as on the lower control panel, there is a Play/Pause button. Slides can be navigated using the arrows.
At the bottom left, the duration of the presentation in minutes, the number of the slide currently being viewed, the total number of slides, and an icon for switching to full-screen mode are displayed. To exit full-screen mode, the listener can click on the player icon in the bottom right corner or press the Esc key.
The listener can provide reactions, enable voice recognition, leave comments, communicate in chat, open the FAQ section, share the presentation, Call presenter, or Schedule meeting with them.
Under the player, listeners can select presentation details (if provided by the presenter). The available options include:
Pitch: A brief presentation with key slides.
Full-length presentation: A complete version of the presentation.
Listeners can react to the presentation using emojis to express their impressions of the slides. The Share button with the slide icon allows them to repost the presentation on social media.
The FAQ is your go-to for quick answers. It includes common questions the presenter thought about while creating the presentation. Need to highlight a point? Just pick a response to jump to the relevant slide.
Next to the Call presenter button, you’ll find Schedule meeting and Chat. Use Schedule meeting to book an online meeting with the presenter, or Chat to send messages while watching the presentation.
The voice recognition button is used to interact with the presentation using voice commands. Listeners can also use the microphone and camera for video calls with the presenter.
Done watching? Just close the presentation tab. The presenter will get a report with your slide reactions and any questions you asked in the chat.
